Merry Christmas! This was taken after Baylor's pre-school Christmas program where they dazzled us with their songs! "Mary had a baby, my lord" is my favorite as well as Baylor's. He sang it all the time for us at home. Also, "3 wise men" sang to the tune of "three blind mice". We all loved it!

Yes, This just happened") See, last night we had gone to Costco for a few things, and ended up bringing home this box of chips for lunches. I put them on top of the freezer so the little boys weren't able to sneak eating them all in the next couple of days, and today, I have Gunnar, Kody and Baylor here. Well, Gunnar comes in from the garage and tells me, ummm shelley? Baylor is stuck on top of the freezer. Of course I knew why he was there, walked in and couldn't help but bust up laughing. Once I could compose myself, I said to Baylor, you got caught huh? Why is this wrong? Of course, he knew, and felt very terrible. I did make him stay there while I took his picture. That was punishment enough. Well, and I didn't give them any chips. They all got to learn the lesson of taking part in the crime") So, when I let him down, I hugged him and kissed him and he said, "Mommy, I won't ever do that again". He is my baby")

We went to our favorite spot for a Christmas tree...St. Joe's church across from the stadium. We have gone over there for the last 6 years, and find a great tree each year. At dinner, before we left to buy our tree, and on the way there, we listened to my favorite Christmas album! Mitch Miller, which we will be singing along to at the "Borgen Family Christmas party" this year! We got into the spirit singing along! Ryan was the one who found the tree this year. It was the first one he saw and it was it! Of course, I had to look around for a bit, but all the boys wanted this one. We brought the tree home, pulled out all of Christmas boxes and started to string the tree. You think we would know by now, to test all the strings before we start! Well, at least the ones on the tree worked, but by the end, we were 2 strands short! Ryan rushed to Walgreen's at 8:30 at night to get some more, while I stayed home and continued to go through boxes. And wouldn't you know it...there were 4 more strings in the bottom of the last box!!! OF COURSE THERE WAS! And yes, they worked! Oh well, Jenner took the extra stings and put them up in his room! He loves it! We took Stacey & Dan's lead on the placing of the Angel on the top of the tree. Ryker won "rock, paper, scissors" and got the honor. We also watched the Polar Express and went to bed a little late! Jenner ended up sleeping on the couch that night. It was always one of my favorite things to do too! Fall asleep to the lights of the tree") Merry Christmas!
